Shit... you know I could swear I already wrote this...
anyway, here goes again.
New Boards
We lost and we gained. /a/, /art/, /tv/, /v/, /co/, /wooo/ and /h/ got the axe, these dear departed boards are no longer with us. However some new boards take their place, so its like we never really lost anything at all. Except we did. Whatever.
Safe For Work:
/jp/ - Japanese Culture /jp/ is now the home for any and everything japan. From weird gameshows to pitch black restaurants, if it's japanese, it goes in here. Weeaboo's unite!
/ent/ - Entertainment replacing most of the boards we lost, /ent/ is now the home for all your entertainment. From reading to video games to wrestling, entertainment goes here. If its fun, it goes here!
/int/ - Intelligent Discussion Pretty self explanatory here. Intelligent Discussions go on in these fabled halls. IMG! Semper superne nitens!
/eu/ - European Culture Think /jp/ but... Europe. All you europeans lurking out there welcome to the /EU/! Post to your hearts content :D

In unrelated news, our very own Bobshayd is coming out with something that will blow you guys away. Possibly literally. I don't know what you get off to. But it should be finished up shortly, and then IMG! will be operating at 50% win, 50% epic, 10% Epic Win. er... or something like that.

Well, what have we done since the last time.
- We have expanded the fortune module to actually have fortunes. 150 to be exact.
- We have created two original modules on top of that. One is #spin which allows you to "spin" a virtual "Price is Right" style Big wheel. The other one allows you to consult the iching. The command it #iching obviously
Oh yeah, fortune and spin both give you a chance to get the credentials to the "secret" board everyone was going on about.
What else...
OH RIGHT! /nm/ is now "Forced Unidentified" as I have discovered how important that is to a random board and I hope users come and use more boards not just /nm/.
Bobshayd, is going to rock your world very soon. VERY SOON. You will discover that he only breaks things to make them better.
I brought back a Wrestling board again. I really want to have one and I don't really care if it takes forever for people to use it. I'll wait.

In traffic news, we are seeing steady traffic as we are rising to the 800 hits a day level. Please keep in mind that we can't have a place without you so if you've been lurking to see if we are going to last, you don't really have to worry about that anymore. If you have been paying attention, we may get knocked down for a little bit, but we come back.
And on the note of recent invasions, I have to say that they have done nothing but the opposite of their intentions. Every invasion gives us more exposure and it's really weird. One thing that I have learned through all this is that "Anonymous" wants you to think that they are a bunch of heartless bastards but if that is the case, then why would they be so easily offended?
Perhaps they are just victims of their own exposure. Who knows.

Yeah so I broke IMG Sunday morning and it took all day to get it back up. I was trying to get more functionality out of the Kusaba Video Extender patch. I didn't make any progress and I took down my site in the process. Shitty.
Anyway, I have another installation of kusaba just for testing now so I don't make the same mistake twice.
I made all the styles show in a dropdown now. So all the style that we have are available in any board. Look for more to come as Arc and Rommel progress in their skills. Here is the code patch for you if you want it for your install:
neocon80 is pretty much overseeing the Graffiti board, /can/. It was his idea so it makes sense. It's doing pretty well so if you see some street art, take a snapshot for us! Also enjoy Unidentified's other new boards /vid/, /baw/, and /edu/!

And FINALLY, I revved up /art/ to accept .psd(photoshop), .xcf(gimp), and .ttf for a better experience. You can upload projects and art up to 10MB now! It is now easier to share art projects with others and have joint projects with other users!

(You know who you are.)
We now have a /gif/ board.
Obviously, it's not SFW but nor are the /h/entai and /f/rankenlinks boards.
I'm sure you folks know what to do, so get to it.
We have several new boards as you can see, an irc channel with a java client, and people can catalog torrents and rapidshares.
There is a lot of refuges in /nm/ and I can proudly say, we have been free of cancer. Come on in, lulz is almost guaranteed!

So, we have been seeing anywhere from 250 - 500 unique hits on the boards but not many posters. I encourage you to jump in on the boards because there are people reading it! Our group is posting and we would hope that you would want to be in on a new community to help us form a new style of imagebords less the bad public reputation.
I mean as long as it's funny I don't care what you say. My only limit really is the type of imagery used. Just be tasteful and don't post nude images anywhere but /f/. That's not to say you can't link to this stuff, but please place a (NSFW) tag besides it so that others won't have to get in trouble at work.
I honestly believe we can have all the fun of any other chan in existence without all that. If you agree with me, please start posting.
We have also been seeing issues where when trying to reply it won't let you. If you relaunch your browser, it will never happen again.
Welcome to IMG. We put this together because imageboards get a bad name. This place is designed for people to come and post without worry of all the garbage that comes with it.
The ONLY board that allows adult images is /f/. If you post these images elsewhere, you will be banned. Also, unlike the other boards, we have no intention of catering to disturbing material whatsoever. In saying this I know we open ourself up to the possibility of an invasion but allow me to say to those people, we are NOT trying to be a traditional chan. Those of you who come from or have frequent those places should know that we are not trying to be that. We just want to provide an imageboard that no one has to hide from their friends.
